Corporate Background​

SMCC Overseas Singapore Pte Ltd is the subsidiary company of Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co Ltd (Japan head office) that is a publicly listed company in Japan.

The present company is a merger of two companies i.e. Sumitomo Construction Co Ltd. and Mitsui Construction Co Ltd, both had a long history of existence and were merged into one company named Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co Ltd in year 2003.

Sumitomo Construction Co Ltd was established in Singapore in year 1980, and Mitsui Construction Co Ltd was established in Singapore in year 1977. Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co Ltd is a global construction company dealing with general construction, civil engineering, architectural works and industrial plant construction.

 

Over the past years, SMCC has extended its scope to Design and/or Build projects that cover Petrochemical Plant, Pharmaceutical Plant, Residential Buildings, Commercial Buildings and Industrial Buildings.
