Corporate Background​

SMCC Overseas Singapore Pte. Ltd. is subsidiary company of Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd. (Japan Head Office).

The present company is a merger of two companies i.e. Sumitomo Construction Co. Ltd. and Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd., both had a long history of existence and were merged into one company named Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd. in year 2003.

Sumitomo Construction Co. Ltd. was established in Singapore in year 1980, and Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd. was established in Singapore in year 1977. Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd. is a global construction company dealing with general construction, civil engineering, architectural works and industrial plant construction.

Over the past years, SMCC has extended its scope to Design and/or Build projects that cover Petrochemical Plant, Pharmaceutical Plant, Residential Buildings, Commercial Buildings and Industrial Buildings.
